Litsea cubeba fruit oil, also known as May Chang essential oil, is derived from the small, pepper-like fruits of the Litsea cubeba tree, which is native to East Asia, particularly China and Indonesia.

Litsea cubeba oil has a fresh, lemony, and citrusy aroma with subtle floral and herbaceous notes. Its uplifting and invigorating scent is often compared to lemongrass or lemon verbena, making it a popular choice in aromatherapy for promoting energy, positivity, and mental clarity.

Blends exceptionally well with other citrus essential oils, helping to underpin those that are lighter and prone to fading.
