Olive Emulsifying Wax
Olive Emulsifying Wax
INCI : Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate
OliveM 1000 emulsifier suitable for all applications.
Cetearyl Olivate: This ingredient is derived from cetearyl alcohol and the fatty acids found in olive oil. It acts as an emulsifier, helping to blend water and oil-based ingredients together in skincare formulations. Cetearyl Olivate also functions as a moisturizer and skin conditioning agent, helping to hydrate and soften the skin.
Sorbitan Olivate: Sorbitan Olivate is derived from sorbitol and the fatty acids found in olive oil. Like Cetearyl Olivate, it acts as an emulsifier, helping to stabilize emulsions and create a smooth, uniform texture in skincare products. Sorbitan Olivate also has emollient properties, helping to soften and smooth the skin.
Together, Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate form a complex called Olivem, which is a popular natural emulsifying system used in many skincare formulations. Olivem provides excellent emulsification properties, stability, and a luxurious skin feel, making it suitable for a wide range of skincare products, including creams, lotions, and serums.
These ingredients are generally well-tolerated by most skin types, including sensitive skin, and are often used in natural and organic skincare products due to their plant-derived origin and gentle nature.
