Kiwi Seed Oil (Refined)

Refined kiwi seed oil is typically a light yellow to pale greenish-yellow with a light, silky texture that absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. The refining process leaves the oil with a very mild or nearly neutral scent. Kiwi seed oil is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

The typical fatty acid profile includes:
•    Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) (Omega-3): ~60-65%
•    Linoleic Acid (Omega-6): ~15-20%
•    Oleic Acid (Omega-9): ~10-15%
•    Palmitic Acid: ~5-8%
•    Stearic Acid: ~1-3%
The high ALA content makes kiwi seed oil particularly beneficial for skin health, providing exceptionally nourishing properties.

Kiwi seed oil is extracted from the tiny black seeds of the kiwi fruit (Actinidia deliciosa) that are separated from the pulp of the kiwi fruit after it has been processed for juice or other food products. The seeds are cold-pressed to extract the oil, preserving its high levels of essential fatty acids and antioxidants before being refined to remove impurities, lighten the colour, and neutralise the scent, resulting in a pure, clear oil suitable for cosmetic use.

Kiwi seed oil is an excellent moisturiser, particularly for dry, sensitive, or mature skin, helping to protect the skin's natural barrier. Its rich omega-3 content may help improve the appearance and radiance of the skin. Kiwi seed oil nourishes the scalp, helping to reduce dryness and flakiness. It can be used to add shine to hair, making it smoother and more manageable and is often used in formulations for nails and cuticles, providing moisture and protection.
